Microsoft appears to be on the cusp of being something it hasn’t been in a long time: cutting-edge.

Developers are working on ways to use AI to spot deep fakes, reports CBS News.

Deepfakes are phony videos of real people, generated by artificial intelligence software at the hands of people who want to undermine our trust.

According to Futurism, an AI from Antrhopic received a passing grade on the George Mason University Law and Economics exam. 

An artificial intelligence dubbed Claude, developed by AI research firm Anthropic, got a "marginal pass" on a recent blindly graded law and economics exam at George Mason University, according to a recent blog post by economics professor Alex Tabarrok.
