To get a license in America, most high school students take a course in Driver’s Ed to learn the Rules of the Road; it takes a certain amount of intelligence to pass the state test to receive a driver’s license.

Moviemaking has long been associated with the snap of the clapboard and directors calling, “CUT!” as they slam down a script. But now, it’s an artificial intelligence behind the lens, directing videos and calling all the shots.

Writing an award-winning book takes intelligence, and someday soon, it may even be artificial. The uptick in the use of editorial AI seems to be heading in that direction.
